booking
Booking was easy and made by online using the Bridge Theatre website.
I had already registered for their access list scheme, click here for information. They link to a Nimbus account so for easiest access you should register for a Nimbus card if you haven't already. All Nimbus application information can be found here .
Once you have a Nimbus card you can register with Bridge Theatre and link your card, then when you sign in to your account your access needs will be automatically identified and you will be able to book seats online which suit your needs including wheelchair and companion spaces. Wheelchair Spaces are only available in Gallery 1 Row C Seats 31 and 32, 34 and 35, 37 and 38, 40 and 41. Ambulant Spaces can be booked in Gallery 1 and the Stalls.
The Bridge Theatre also offer a variety of adaptations and assistances when booking tickets and visiting the venue. Full information can be found here.
You can only book one access rate ticket for each show so if you want to visit more than once you need to contact the box office directly.

Access Overview
Access to the Bridge Theatre is via wide flat double doors. The wheelchair spaces are located in Gallery1 which is level access from the entrance foyer up a ramp to the side. Accessing the theatre from the entrance is often problematic due to the volume of people, layout and no access staff assisting you, (see Wheel with Me).

Toilet Facilities
The accessible toilet was located just off the foyer/bar area by the Gallery 1 doors. .
it is a good size and there is plenty of space to side transfer if required.
The door is quite heavy and opens into the corridor leading to the Ladies Toilet so you might need assistance leaving.
Access Host
To the best of my knowledge there is no access host at the Bridge Theatre. No one has ever met us at the door or helped direct us from the entrance.
This makes navigating the very busy enterance foyer/ bar area very difficult as there are lots of people and bar tables blocking the route.
When we got to the doors to our seat a lovely usher helped us, and checked on us again during the interval.
When we were leaving we saw an access desk tucked away by the entrance, we have been to the theatre multiple times and have never seen the desk before probably due to the volume of people in the foyer.

Seat & View
There are four wheelchair spaces and companion seats in Gallery 1 Row C. There is plenty of space and leg room because the seats are removable and there is no one behind you. The flexible seating means that you can chose to remain in your chair or transfer.
The view is generally good but you do miss the immersive feeling which makes the Theatre unique and you are also exposed to all the staging underneath the stage. It would be nice is accessible seating was offered in the Stalls to make you feel included in the Immersive experience.
