booking
Booking was made through the Nederlander website. Click here for the booking page.
I had already registered for their access scheme. You need to allow at least five days between registering and attempting to book tickets. You can register here.
Once you are registered you access the website select the show and then click add promo code. A drop down box if promo options will appear. Make sure you click the right box and enter the promo code. If you click the wrong box you will not be able to return back as the promo codes disappear. You will need to close the page entirely and reload at a later time.
There are two non transfer spaces in the Netherlander box and two in the stalls. If you wish to transfer then you have a very wide selection of seats in the stalls. The access line number is 020 7836 5537 if you require further help.
You get an access ticket half price and a companion ticket half price if you are eligible which makes it one of the more expensive ticket options available.

Access Overview
We were seated in the Netherlander box and access to this was via a side door on Bainbridge Street. (see Wheel With Me)
Any access host meets you and escorts you around. There is level access from the street to the box. This area contained an accessible toilet and there were steps for carers to go to the main theatre to use a different toilet if required or access the bar.
According to the theatre's website, manual wheelchair users and lightweight electric chairs (under 300kg combined weight with user) can sit in the stalls via a lift in either aisle transfer seats or remain in the chair in spaces ZZ50 and XX50. We did see a couple of wheelchair users below transferring into aisle seats but I did not personally experience this. See Theatre website for more details here.
Toilet Facilities
The toilet was located in the corridor leading to the box. It was incredibly large and there was plenty of room to turn around or side transfer.
As the only access to the toilet was from the box it was also private with only those in the box being able to use it.
There is also an accessible toilet in the stalls which requires a Radar Key.
Access Host
The access host was fantastic. They met us at the front door and escorted us around the side to our seats.
They asked us if we wanted refreshments before the show and during the interval and were happy to get these for us.
Great service all round.

Seat & View
The Netherlander box has space for two wheelchairs and two carers. There is plenty of space and leg room because the seats are removable. In the Stalls non transfer seats are available in spaces ZZ50 and XX50 and aisle transfer seats can also be booked. The stalls is only suitable for lightweight chairs or manual chairs due to lift restrictions (see access tab).
This Nederlander box was extremely large but the side view is significantly restricted depending on where you sit. Towards the back of the box the view is much better as it becomes more obscured the closer you get to the front of the box.
The back of the box is raised which is accessible for wheelchairs via a ramp or those who can manage a step.
There is no fixed seating so you can adjust the seating to your requirements.
