Accessibility
Access Overview
Access from the enterance is flat and level at street level. There is security as you enter and to the right hand side there is an access desk if you require any equipment or assistance. The entrance to the stalls is also level and depending on your seat you will need to enter the left or right hand doors. There was no one to assist you so its advisable to check your tickets and the seat plan before you go.
Once inside the stalls the wheelchair spaces are in the back row with the companion seat either beside or in front.
Access Host
There is no access host at the Lyttelton Theatre and it becomes very busy in show days. There is an access desk where you can get accessibility equipment but during our visit they were not very helpful and we had to figure everything out ourselves.

Toilet Facilities
There are two accessible toilets at the Lyttelton theatre. One is down the corridor by the cloakroom and on is to the right of the stalls.
The toilet is a good size with plenty of space to side transfer.

Seat & View
There are two wheelchair spaces and companion seats at the back of the stalls. Seat V7 has companion seats V8 and V9 next to it and V31 has companion seats U32 and U33 in front of it. If you wish to transfer seat V7 and V8 are the best options.
The view is generally good but you do need to manoeuvre a bit but there are plenty of gaps between the people in front to enable a good view to the stage.
The space is very close to the exit and it is quick and efficient to leave at the end.
