booking
Booking was easy and made by online using the Delfont Macintosh website.
I had already registered for their carer scheme. They link to a Nimbus account so for easiest access you should register for a Nimbus card if you haven't already. All Nimbus application information can be found here .
Once you have a Nimbus card you can register with Delfont Mackintosh and link your card, then when you sign in to your account your access needs will be automatically identified and you will be able to book seats online which suit your needs.
For Noel Coward Theatre there are two non transferable wheelchair seats with companion seats in BXM (suitable for electric chairs) and BXL (suitable for manual chairs). There are two transfer seats in the Royal Circle G7, 8 and G22, 23. There are also two seats with extra legroom in the Royal Circle H24,23 but these have a small number of steps required to access them.
If you are eligible there is a free carer ticket and an access rate so the ticket prices were very reasonable.
Delfont Mackintosh also offer a variety of adaptations and assistances when booking tickets and visiting the venue. Full information can be found here

Accessibility
Access Overview
Access to the theatre is via a door slightly to the side of the main entrance. there is a small lip which has a rubber wedge placed by it and a long Ramp up 4 steps into the theatre. There is restricted headroom for the companion in the hallway so they need to be careful when entering via this route. The accessible toilet is located to the right at the top of the ramp and BXL is directly in front. To access BXM you need to traverse the lobby which is all level access.
If seated in BXM its advisable to either leave promptly or wait a while for the lobby to clear.

Toilet Facilities
The accessible toilet was located right next to the entrance ramp but at the opposite side of the lobby to the wheelchair box. It was a good size and there is plenty of space to side transfer.

Access Host
The access host was excellent.
They met us at the front door and held the queue whilst they escorted us into the box navigating the ramp and lobby area.
They checked on us in the interval and at the end of the show helped us safely exit the theatre.
Seat & View
In the Noel Coward Theatre there are two non transferable wheelchair seats with companion seats in BXM (suitable for electric chairs) and BXL (suitable for manual chairs). These are located within boxes to the side of the Royal Circle. There are two transfer seats in the Royal Circle G7, 8 and G22, 23. There are also two seats with extra legroom in the Royal Circle H24,23 but these have a small number of steps required to access them.
We have only sat in BXM due to the electric chair but the view is very good, you need to position yourself at an angle to enable the companion seat to have a good view but once you have the correct positions the view from both seats is excellent.
The only downside is the accessible box opens directly onto the main lobby area and often during performances you can hear conversations in the lobby which can be distracting.
