booking
Booking was easy and made by online using the ATG website.
I had already registered for their access scheme. They link to a Nimbus account so for easiest access you should register for a Nimbus card if you haven't already. All Nimbus application information can be found here .
Once you have a Nimbus card you can register with ATG and link your card, then when you sign in to your account your access needs will be automatically identified and you will be able to book seats online which suit your needs. The ATG access page can be found here.
Once your account is linked just access the ATG booking page select the show you would like to see and log into your account. Select the show here. Wheelchair accessible seats are shown with a wheelchair icon, if no wheelchair icon is visible check another date. Once selected the seat will appear with a tick, and then you just reserve and check out. If you require further support you can contact ATG Accessibility assistance line on 00333 009 5399.
In the Kit Kat Club at the Playhouse Theatre the dedicated non transfer wheelchair space is in Stalls slips A7 and A8. If you wish to transfer out of your chair the dedicated space is B11 and B12 however the end of the aisles in row C is level access so if there are no other spaces available call the accessibility assistance line and discuss this option with them.
ATG also offer a variety of adaptations and assistances when booking tickets and visiting the venue. Full information can be found here

Accessibility
Access Overview
Entrance from outside is via a level access side door, you will be instructed to wait by the doorman behind a side roped area. Able bodied patrons enter via the basement stairs but unfortunately during to the age and listed status of the venue there are no lifts enabling wheelchair patrons to experience the basement or first floor of the club. This is unfortunate as you miss out on the pre show ambiance but an unfortunate reality of listed theatre buildings. The entrance to the stalls is to the left and is via a long sloping ramp.
Toilet Facilities
There is one accessible toilet located on the first floor lobby. It is the opposite to the street entrance and stalls seat entrance so you will need assistance to navigate the very busy lobby. It is also difficult to find a place to wait if the toilet is occupied because you are in the main bar area near a stalls entrance and stairs to the accessible toilets.
The toilet is large and you can easily side transfer.
Access Host
The access host was excellent and very friendly.
They met us at the front door and escorted us to our seats.
They checked on us in the interval and at the end of the show, however would be been helpful to have assistance accessing the toilets at the interval due to the crowds.

Seat & View
In the Kit Kat Club at the Playhouse Theatre the dedicated non transfer wheelchair space is in Stalls slips A7 and A8. If you wish to transfer out of your chair the dedicated space is B11 and B12 however the end of the aisles in row C is level access so if there are no other spaces available call the accessibility assistance line and discuss this option with them.
We have sat in the Slips A7 and A8. You are very close to the action and feel very involved in the show from these seats. The cast do come past your seat often to exit and enter the stage but they are aware you are there. The view from the wheelchair position is excellent but the companion seat is obscured by a pillar and sometimes a cast member leaning against said pillar. The companion seat is bolted to the floor so there is no way to reposition the seat, however this doesn't distract from the overall experience.
