Sister Act at Dominion Theatre
Booking
Booking was easy and made by telephone.
I was offered this stalls or the box and when I asked which was better I was told the box was definitely better.
There was no free carer ticket but you go both tickets half price so it works out the same.
Access Ticket: £37.50
Carer Ticket: £37.50
Theatre Location
Centrally located next to Tottenham Court Road Station at the junction of Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road.
There are lots of transport links and accessible restaurants located near by including a food hall.
Theatre Access
We were seated in the box and access to this was via a side door.
Any access host meets you and escorts you around. This area contained an accessible toilet and there were steps for carers to go to the main theatre to use a different toilet if required or access the bar.
According to the website manual wheelchair users can sit in the stalls via a lift and we did see a couple of wheelchair users below transferring into aisle seats but I did not personally experience this.

The access host was fantastic.
They met us at the front door and escorted us around the side to our seats.
They asked us if we wanted refreshments before the show and during the interval and were happy to get these for us.
Great service all round.
We sat in the Nederlander Box.
This box was extremely large and there was another gentleman and his carer in the box with us.
The back of the box is raised which is not accessible for wheelchairs but is ok for carers or those who can manage a step.
There is no fixed seating so you can adjust the seating to your requirements. My carer said that the chairs were not the comfiest and they got quite fidgety towards the end of the show.
I sat towards the front of the box which was ok but some of the stage was obscured.
The website states that you can fit uptown three wheelchairs and carers in the box which you could do it would just require some manoeuvring to ensure everyone could see.
The toilet was located in the corridor leading to the box. It was incredibly large and there was plenty of room to turn around or side transfer.
As the only access to the toilet was from the box it was also private with only those in the box being able to use it.
I visited in April 2024 and all views expressed above are my personal opinion.
It was my first visit to Dominion Theatre
