Adelphi Theatre
The Adelphi Theatre first opened in 1806. It was renamed the Adelphi Theatre in 1819 and became particularly famous during the Victorian period for melodrama. The current building opened in 1930, in a distinctive Art Deco style.
The Adelphi is on the Strand , in the heart of the West End and within the City of Westminster.
