booking
Booking was easy and made by online using the ATG website.
I had already registered for their access scheme. They link to a Nimbus account so for easiest access you should register for a Nimbus card if you haven't already. All Nimbus application information can be found here .
Once you have a Nimbus card you can register with ATG and link your card, then when you sign in to your account your access needs will be automatically identified and you will be able to book seats online which suit your needs. The ATG access page can be found here.
Once your account is linked just access the ATG booking page select the show you would like to see and log into your account. Select the show here. Wheelchair accessible seats are shown with a wheelchair icon, if no wheelchair icon is visible check another date. Once selected the seat will appear with a tick, and then you just reserve and check out. If you require further support you can contact ATG Accessibility assistance line on 00333 009 5399.
In the Trafalgar Theatre the dedicated non transfer wheelchair spaces are in Stalls Row H1 and H25 with companion seats in H2 and H24 respectively. With the non transfer positions the rest behind will be removed to allow more space. If you wish to transfer out of your chair the dedicated space is K1 and companion seat K2 at the end of the aisle.
If you are eligible there is a free carer ticket and an access rate so the ticket prices were very reasonable.
ATG also offer a variety of adaptations and assistances when booking tickets and visiting the venue. Full information can be found here

Access Overview
Access from flat from street level to the enternace lobby. From here you need to take a lift to the stalls. The lift is quite tight and only fits two one of whom will be a manager (your companion will need to use the stairs).
At the bottom the lift exit is on a slant so you have to reverse on an angle. I find it easier to reverse in at the top and exit facing forwards at the stalls.
From the stalls lobby there is level access via a gentle slope to the access seating.
Access Host
There is no specific access host. The manager will escort you up and down in the lift.
Once at the stalls level use the right. door for seats 1-15 and the left door for seats 16-25.
Toilet Facilities
The accessible toilet is located just before the ladies toilet. This area gets very busy especially before, during the interval and after the show. If there is a queue you will end up blocking the ladies toilet queue which is problematic. Also there is no radar key requirement which means no access patrons often use this toilet.
It is a large toilet with plenty of room to side transfer but the lock is a little temperamental and I have been locked in on one occasion!

Seat & View
In the Trafalgar Theatre the dedicated non transfer wheelchair spaces are in Stalls Row H1 and H25 with companion seats in H2 and H24 respectively. With the non transfer positions the rest behind will be removed to allow more space, although occasionally people seated in Row K will hit your chair if stretching out. Also at the interval you have to be flexible with moving because the chair blocks Row H and J but there is not enough space to wait in the aisle. If you wish to transfer out of your chair the dedicated space is K1 and companion seat K2 at the end of the aisle.
The view is generally good and you don't disturb any other patrons behind. It is slightly to the side but this generally doesn't impact the shows.
