Access Overview
The access to the theatre is via a door to the side of the main entrance via a small ramp. Once inside the accessible seating is in the stalls.
To access the stalls from the entrance lobby there are five stairs and the theatre uses a Domino Zonzini stair climber. The stair climber can accommodate chairs 87.5cm (L) x 96.5cm (W), excluding footrests with a maximum weight of 400kg (62 stone). My Quickie Q100R managed fine. I was very nervous about using the stair climber but it was a very smooth experience. I have attached photos and videos of the climber, you can also check out the Wheel With Me Tab for a wheelchair perspective.
It is recommended you arrive 45 minutes before the show starts if you want to use the climber, this is ideal because you can then get to your seat before everyone else is in the theatre which again reduces the stress of the experience. At the end we waited until everyone had left and then used the climber to leave. There is no interval during Six but the access host would assist you in the interval with purchasing drinks etc if appropriate.
In event of an emergency an evacuation chair is used because it is easier to exit quickly but the access host explains every procedure before the beginning of the show.

Toilet Facilities
There is no accessible toilet at the Vaudeville, you have to go next door to the Adelphi Theatre (see Adelphi Theatre or Back to The Future review). You are escorted next door by an access host.
It is recommended that you use the toilet facilities before you use the stair climber to the stalls.
Access Host
The access host was excellent. Genuinely one of the best access host we have had, a definite 5* rating.
They met us at the front door and they were patient, kind and competent when using the stair climber. They explained everything to us and were helpful and reassuring.
They were genuinely interested in feedback of our experience and made the whole process very stress free.
Seat & View
There is one non transferable wheelchair seat in M1 in the Stalls and two transferrable wheelchair spaces in D1 and D18 also I the stalls. We chose M1 the non transferrable space. It is large as they removed both seats M and N to accommodate the chair and the back of the seats is a pillar so no views are obstructed. I have a higher power chair and therefore my view was very good, if you have a manual chair or lower chair you might struggle with the view as the rake is not very steep. This did however mean that the chair felt quite flat and did not need a levelling wedge.
The only major problem with the seat was when people were entering and leaving, due to the narrow aisle there is no where to park out of the way and as we were first in and last out it meat manoeuvring a lot to allow people into Row M and Row N. Everyone was very polite and patient but it was a bit of a faff!
